A clear note on what this site processes, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Who we are

SPOT.HIDEOUT is an archive / vintage fashion boutique in Tân Định, Sài Gòn. This website is our link-in-bio and store info page.

What this site processes now

You can use this site without creating an account or giving us your name, email address, or phone number.

When analytics are enabled, our self-hosted Umami installation records page views and deliberate interactions such as opening a section, viewing a look, copying item details, or following a link. It also records general technical context such as referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and approximate country. Umami does not use cookies, fingerprint you, or track you across websites.

Our custom analytics use internal content and control identifiers. We do not send names, social handles, email addresses, copied text, destination URLs, URL search terms, or arbitrary form data to Umami. The tracker is configured to respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.

Cloudflare and our server providers process connection information, including IP addresses and security logs, as needed to deliver and protect the site.

Messages and email

If you email us or message us through Instagram, your message is handled by your chosen email provider or Meta under their own terms and privacy practices. We use the information you send only to respond and manage the relationship you asked us to begin.

The newsletter is not currently active, so this site does not currently collect email addresses through a signup form. If we enable it, the form will explain what is collected, which delivery provider is used, and what you are agreeing to before you subscribe. Every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Cookies and advertising

We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies, Meta Pixel, or similar cross-site advertising technology. Our current Umami analytics do not require cookies.

If we introduce Meta Pixel or another advertising measurement tool, we will update this notice before activation and provide a consent control where required. Those tools may then share browser, device, interaction, and campaign information with the relevant advertising platform for measurement, audience, or advertising purposes.

Why we process information

We process the minimum information needed to deliver and secure the site, understand which content is useful, respond when you contact us, and—only if you choose it—send future updates.

Where applicable law requires consent, we will ask before the relevant processing begins. Optional email marketing and future advertising technology will not be activated without the notice and choices required for that feature.

Providers and processing locations

The site is delivered through Cloudflare's global network. Umami is hosted on infrastructure we control. These systems may process information outside Vietnam. The YouTube film preview is stored on our server and does not contact Google until you choose to play it. External email, Instagram, maps, social links, and activated YouTube playback are governed by the provider you choose to open.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to operate the site or communications, when you direct us to another platform, or when required by law.

Retention

Analytics may be retained for as long as they remain reasonably useful for operating and improving the site, then deleted or aggregated. Security logs are retained according to our infrastructure and provider settings.

Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer, maintain the relevant business record, or meet legal obligations. If email subscriptions are enabled later, we will retain subscription and consent records while you remain subscribed and as needed to honour an unsubscribe request.

Your choices and contact

You may enable Do Not Track in your browser, use the site without contacting us, and decline any future optional email or advertising consent.

To ask what information we hold about you, or request correction or deletion where applicable, email us below. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.

Changes

We will update this notice when our practices materially change, including before activating a newsletter, Meta Pixel, or another marketing tool. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
