Terms

We sell pre-owned, vintage and archive clothing and accessories, not new goods unless expressly stated. Review the description, photographs, measurements and disclosed condition before ordering, and ask about any particular requirements. Label sizes vary, measurements are approximate and screen colours may differ. Wear, repairs or alterations accurately disclosed and agreed before purchase are part of the item’s condition and are not, by themselves, grounds for a return.

We describe known condition issues and check pieces in-house, including labels, hardware and construction. These checks are not brand certification. Brand names identify the items and do not imply affiliation. We do not promise an existing manufacturer’s warranty or a particular remaining lifespan unless expressly stated; our obligations for accuracy, safety and legally required remedies still apply.

Many pieces are one-offs. Listings, enquiries and items in a basket do not reserve stock. Holds, payment deadlines and any deposit conditions must be expressly agreed before payment. We confirm availability, current condition, price, currency, delivery charges and payment arrangements before you commit to an order.

An order is accepted only when we explicitly confirm acceptance; an automatic acknowledgement is not acceptance. Before acceptance, we may decline an order for unavailable stock, a listing error, failed payment or reasonable grounds to suspect fraud. Payment must clear before dispatch unless otherwise agreed. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we contact you and refund the amount paid for the unfulfilled order, without limiting other remedies required by law. We do not substitute an item or change an agreed price without your agreement.

Domestic orders usually arrive in 2–4 days. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as a commitment; carrier or customs delays can affect them. International destinations, delivery arrangements and costs are confirmed before payment. You are responsible for import duties, taxes and clearance fees only where disclosed and agreed as payable by you; authorities may determine the final amount.

Provide accurate delivery details and arrange to receive or collect your order. Where incorrect details or an unjustified failure to receive or collect it causes extra delivery costs, we may charge reasonable actual costs where disclosed before ordering and permitted by law. We confirm the amount before arranging re-delivery. Inspect the item on receipt and report loss, damage or delivery problems promptly so we can investigate with the carrier. This does not shorten legal claim periods or transfer our delivery responsibilities to you.

We do not accept cancellations, returns or exchanges simply because you change your mind, prefer a different style or find that an item does not fit where its measurements were accurately described, unless agreed otherwise or required by law. This policy does not exclude remedies for incorrect, faulty or materially misdescribed items, authenticity problems or mandatory cancellation rights.

We are not responsible for damage caused after delivery by misuse, unsuitable cleaning, alterations or failure to follow care instructions. This applies only to damage caused by that conduct, not to an existing defect. If you discover a problem, stop using the item where continued use could worsen it and take reasonable steps to preserve its condition.

Contact operations@spothideout.com before sending a return, with your order details, a description of the issue and relevant photographs where reasonably available. We may request reasonable supporting information and an inspection before deciding a claim. Keep the item and any supplied accessories or tags where reasonably possible; missing packaging alone does not remove statutory rights. Receiving a return for inspection does not itself mean a refund has been approved.

We explain return instructions, costs and the expected review timeframe. Any remedy depends on the issue and applicable law; a one-off item may not have a replacement available. Return costs that we must legally bear remain ours. Any discretionary return outside your legal rights requires our prior agreement, including its condition and cost requirements.

If we agree to buy your items, accept a consignment, arrange a rental or collaborate, the price, fees, condition requirements, responsibilities and timing must be agreed separately before proceeding. These website terms do not create such an arrangement. An application or expression of interest is not an offer of employment or a promise of future work.

You may browse the site and share links. Our original photographs, text and design belong to SPOT or their respective owners. Copying listings, republishing images or commercially reusing content requires permission unless permitted by law. Do not impersonate others, submit fraudulent material, interfere with site security or use automated tools in ways that disrupt the service. Only submit information you are entitled to share.

We may restrict site access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats or misuse. This does not remove rights relating to an existing order or prevent you from contacting us about it. External platforms have their own terms. Site availability is not guaranteed, and listings may change; accepted orders remain subject to their agreed terms. Personal information is handled under our privacy notice.

Vietnamese law applies, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable to you elsewhere. Updated terms apply prospectively; an accepted order remains subject to the terms agreed for it unless we both agree to a lawful change.
